Kin Kin's popular pubThe historic village of Kin Kin was settled in the 1890s when timber cutters arrived to harvest the enormous eucalypts and cedars from the surrounding bushland.
This tiny town, which got its name from the Aboriginal word for ‘black ants’, consists of only the Kin Kin Country Life Hotel, a post office and a small local store, but the popular swells each year for the Great Kin Kin Horse Race.
