Noosa National Park
Over one million visitors per year tread the network of peaceful walking tracks in Australias most visited national park. The tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness. Pack a lunch and your swimsuit or indulge in a guided gourmet breakfast or lunch walk.
Track signs are posted by the entrance at the Noosa Heads end. It is also accessible at the southern end from Sunshine Beach. Its features include a breathtaking coastline, rainforest, wildlife and sealife, koalas, wildflowers and secluded beaches and coves.
Noosa Woods
Just a quick jog or half-hour walk will take you to Noosa Woods along the track from Hastings Street to the Noosa Bar end and back through parkland.
Mt Coolum
Take an amazing walk for about 20 to 30 minutes up a steep rocky track to the top of Mt Coolum. The spectacular 360-degree views of the Sunshine Coast are worth the climb. Reaching the summit at sunrise or just after will reward climbers with the best views and this is also the coolest time of day to embark upon the trek.
Mt Tinbeerwah
Park at the top and walk for about 10 minutes to the lookout. You ll discover the beauty of Noosas hinterland and the diversity of coastal vegetation.
Wooroi State Forest
Another of Noosa s well-kept secrets. This state forest is just outside of Tewantin on the Cooroy Road. Immerse yourself in 1.5 kilometres of pristine Australian rainforest.
Cooloola National Park
Discover the 4WD trails or pack a tent for a long and exciting walk. Canoe up to the beginnings of the Noosa River. Walk the Cooloola Sand Patch and return via the Teewah Beach by 4WD.
