Location: 40–50 min walk from Hastings St or 7–10 min drive.
Only minutes from Noosa Heads and located on the southern edge of the Noosa Heads National Park is Sunshine Beach and a little further along, Sunrise Beach. Incorporating some of Australia’s most innovative, architect-designed homes, the Sunshine Beach area has its own unique and laid-back style.
Boutique shops, restaurants and cafes are located centrally in the burgeoning Duke Street commercial area, only walking distance from the long white surf beach. Across the road and set on a hill overlooking the ocean is the Sunshine Beach Surf Club. Its restaurant terrace is the ideal place to laze away a summer’s afternoon. From the beach, whales and dolphins can often be spotted frolicking in the ocean. Sunshine Beach also offers access to the southern side Noosa National Park and its secluded Alexandria Bay.
